Kaliya Young, widely known as Identity Woman, is an expert in decentralized/self-sovereign identity. She has committed her life to the development of an open-standard-based layer of the internet that empowers people. Kaliya runs a global consultancy with her partner Lucy Yang, a seasoned business strategist for emerging technology, to help organizations of all sorts adopt, develop and invest in decentralized identity in the most strategic manner.
In 2005, Kaliya co-founded the Internet Identity Workshop (IIW) to bring together technologists who want to see decentralized identity come into being.
