For over 20 years, Interop has fueled the revolution and evolution in IP networking. So where does Interop turn for reliable, high-speed networking services for exhibitors, conference rooms and attendees? The InteropNet.
The InteropNet is built in collaboration with hand selected, innovative vendors and volunteers, who come together to take on the ultimate networking challenge--creating the InteropNet.
Get a practical, behind the scenes view of the InteropNet by taking a free engineer-led tour. Tours start at the InteropNet NOC, booth 1061 on the expo floor, Wednesday at 1:00pm and 3:00pm, and Thursday at 11:00am and 1:00pm.

“I participate because volunteering on the InteropNet is the ultimate networking challenge. Basically, the team has to stage, deploy, operate and teardown the world’s largest temporary network in less time than most people take for family vacation. Add in we advertise both a class A and B networks to the world, have to keep the bad stuff out and the good stuff in, make it all work together…you get the idea. This is all done with tireless volunteer engineer labor…I would never want it any other way…It’s our Mt. Everest.”
Mark Sullivan, InteropNet Lead Engineer LV 2008
"I volunteer at Interop because it gives me the opportunity to work with the latest and greatest avante garde technologies. InteropNet also enables me to work next to the tech sector's best and brightest engineers to design, build and manage the world's most intricate traveling network. As a learning experience, there is no better way to cultivate knowledge to develop network topology, deployment, and best practice solutions for any environment."
